Mónica F. Peña

Teacher at Mount Pleasant Technical College, loves geography

🇲🇽 Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico
Mount Pleasant Technical College
2013 to 2024
Spanish

Mount Pleasant Technical College was my second home. I taught geography there from 2013 to 2024, mostly teenagers. Over the years I had 620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mónica

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Geography Religious studies

What gifts mean to Mónica: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
