Mónica Álvarez
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- The Harmony Studio
- 1982 to 2015
- Spanish
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1982 at The Harmony Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
