Mona Khadija Shaker

Environmental science and French teacher, Luxor

  • πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬ Luxor, Luxor, Egypt
  • 1983 to 2007
  • English
I taught environmental science and French at Luxor Grammar School, Luxor. I never once raised my voice. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mona

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mona: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
