Mona Hiba Aziz
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇪🇬 Mansoura, Dakahlia, Egypt
- 1989 to 2010
- English
I coached rowing at Mansoura Football Club from 1989 to 2010. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mona
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Mona: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
