Modupe Obiageli Coker
Self-taught street art artist
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Fairview Pottery
- 1985 to 2010
- English, Hausa
I'm a street art artist based in Badagry. I've been making things from 1985 to 2010 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Fairview Pottery, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Modupe
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Modupe: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
