Modupe Lilian Abdullahi
Coached cricket for 47 years in Kaduna
- 🇳🇬 Kaduna, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Kaduna Athletic Club
- Since 1979
- English, Hausa
I've coached cricket at Kaduna Athletic Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Modupe
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
