Modupe Jumoke Adebayo
Art and Spanish teacher, Enugu
- 🇳🇬 Enugu, Enugu, Nigeria
- Andes High School
- Since 1997
- English, Igbo
For 29 years I have been the art teacher at Andes High School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Modupe
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Modupe: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
