Drums player and teacher in Zaria
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Zaria Silverlake Ensemble
- Since 1988
- English, Hausa
I'm a musician from Zaria. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Modupe: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
