Modupe Amaka Mba

Coached boxing for 46 years in Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Since 1980
  • English, Igbo
For 46 years I've run the boxing program at Lagos Youth Club in Lagos. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Modupe

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
