Mizanur Imran Mia
Volunteer mentor with Good Shepherd Youth Network
- 🇮🇳 Gaya, Bihar, India
- Good Shepherd Youth Network
- 1978 to 2014
- English, Bengali
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 830 people through Good Shepherd Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mizanur
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Mizanur: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
