Mitu Tamanna Miah
Retired religious studies teacher from Gazipur Academy
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Gazipur Academy
- 1978 to 2009

I taught religious studies at Gazipur Academy in Gazipur from 1978 to 2009. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,740 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me religious studies in 2010 at Gazipur Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Greetings from Ikeja.
