Mitu Fatema Mahmud
Flute player and teacher in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Orchestra
- 2009 to 2022
- English, Bengali
I play flute and piano. I started in 2009 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mitu
I wrote my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Mitu: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
