Miss Zaki
Taught English literature at Lincoln Middle School
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Lincoln Middle School
- 1984 to 2002
- English, Arabic
I taught English literature at Lincoln Middle School in Cairo from 1984 to 2002. Most days I taught first-year students, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Miss Zaki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
