Miss Yakovlev
Home economics and early years teacher, Saint Petersburg
- 🇷🇺 Saint Petersburg, Saint Petersburg, Russia
- Lakeview Boys' School
- Since 1996
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miss Yakovlev
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Miss Yakovlev: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
