Miss Xiao

Teacher at Victoria Grammar School, loves art

🇨🇦 Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Victoria Grammar School
2001 to 2017
English, Mandarin

I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Miss Xiao

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Art Agriculture English literature

What gifts mean to Miss Xiao: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
