Miss Worku
13 years teaching economics in Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Silverlake Technical College
- 1997 to 2007
- English, Amharic
I taught economics at Silverlake Technical College in Mekelle from 1997 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
What gifts mean to Miss Worku: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me economics in 2006 at Silverlake Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
