Miss Winata
28 years teaching English literature in Semarang
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Cedar Grove Boys' School
- Since 2003
- English, Indonesian
For 23 years I have been the English literature teacher at Cedar Grove Boys' School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Miss Winata: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
