Miss Wanigasekara
17 years teaching design and technology in Galle
- 🇱🇰 Galle, Southern, Sri Lanka
- Fairview Public School
- Since 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Miss Wanigasekara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
