Miss Velasco

Special education and drama teacher, Caloocan

🇵🇭 Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines
Caloocan Secondary School
Since 1992
English

For 34 years I have been the special education teacher at Caloocan Secondary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.

More about Miss Velasco

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
