For 25 years I have been the agriculture teacher at Rio de Janeiro Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Miss Vasconcelos
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
