Miss Vance
Geography teacher at Kilimanjaro Technical College, 1988 to 2004
- 🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
- Kilimanjaro Technical College
- 1988 to 2004
- English, Spanish
For 16 years I was the geography teacher at Kilimanjaro Technical College. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Miss Vance
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Miss Vance: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
