Miss Van der Wal
Taught physics at Central Technical College
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Central Technical College
- 1996 to 2024
- Dutch
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Van der Wal
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Miss Van der Wal: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
