I taught design and technology at São Paulo Public School in São Paulo from 1999 to 2009. Most days I taught first-year students, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Miss Teixeira
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
