Miss Tavares
English literature teacher at Guarulhos Academy, 1987 to 1999

- Guarulhos Academy

For twelve years I was the English literature teacher at Guarulhos Academy. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Miss Tavares
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Tavares: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
