For ten years I was the mathematics teacher at Meadowbank Public School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Miss Silva
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
