I teach accounting at Stonebridge Academy in Santa Rosa since 1994. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Salazar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Salazar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
