Miss Romero
Taught home economics at Lotus Academy
- 🇺🇸 Joliet, Illinois, United States
- Lotus Academy
- 2016 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Miss Romero
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Romero: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
