Miss Quincy

Agriculture and history teacher, Corpus Christi

🇺🇸 Corpus Christi, Texas, United States
Corpus Christi Middle School
Since 1979
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Miss Quincy

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

Subjects taught

Agriculture History Physics

What gifts mean to Miss Quincy: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me agriculture in 1981 at Corpus Christi Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
