Miss Pillai
Chemistry and English literature teacher, Saket
- 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
- Pioneer Grammar School
- Since 1979
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miss Pillai
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Pillai: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me chemistry in 2024 at Pioneer Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
