Miss Pickett
Biology and physical education teacher, Columbus
- 🇺🇸 Columbus, Ohio, United States
- Lotus Academy
- 1988 to 2024
- English
I taught biology at Lotus Academy in Columbus from 1988 to 2024. Most days I taught teenagers, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Miss Pickett
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me biology in 2000 at Lotus Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
