Miss Pickett
19 years teaching environmental science in Yonkers
- 🇺🇸 Yonkers, New York, United States
- Yonkers Public School
- 2009 to 2022
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Miss Pickett
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me environmental science in 2016 at Yonkers Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
