Miss Perera
Taught music at Meadowbank Middle School
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Meadowbank Middle School
- 1985 to 1997
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Miss Perera
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
