I teach special education at Mumbai Middle School in Mumbai since 1984. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Miss Patel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
