Miss Pane
38 years teaching agriculture in Yogyakarta
- 🇮🇩 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
- Silverlake Secondary School
- 1978 to 2003
- English, Indonesian
For 25 years I was the agriculture teacher at Silverlake Secondary School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Pane
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Miss Pane: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
