Miss Otieno
Retired special education teacher from Kasarani Grammar School
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Grammar School
- 2016 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Miss Otieno
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Otieno: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me special education in 2016 at Kasarani Grammar School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Greetings from Southampton.
