Miss Okello
Home economics and mathematics teacher, Dar es Salaam
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Gateway Public School
- 2015 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I taught home economics at Gateway Public School in Dar es Salaam from 2015 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Miss Okello: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
