Miss Oikonomou
18 years teaching history in Athens
- 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
- Liberty High School
- Since 1995
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Miss Oikonomou
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Miss Oikonomou: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
