For 39 years I have been the history teacher at Zanzibar City Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Miss Mutebi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Miss Mutebi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
