Miss Murphy
35 years teaching biology in Sacramento
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Technical College
- 2000 to 2008
- English
For eight years I was the biology teacher at Sacramento Technical College. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miss Murphy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Murphy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
