Miss Moreno
Chemistry and design and technology teacher, Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Highland Secondary School
- Since 2008
- English
I teach chemistry at Highland Secondary School in Chicago since 2008. Most days I teach primary school children, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Miss Moreno
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Moreno: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
