I taught history at Dhaka Girls' School in Dhaka from 1995 to 2008. Most days I taught Year 7, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
