Miss Mendez
38 years teaching biology in San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Technical College
- Since 2013
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Miss Mendez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Miss Mendez: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
