Miss Mendes
Biology and economics teacher, Curitiba
- 🇧🇷 Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil
- Curitiba Secondary School
- 1978 to 2013
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Miss Mendes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Mendes: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
