Miss Melaku
Biology and physics teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Since 2003
- English, Amharic, Spanish
I teach biology at Brookfield Boys' School in Addis Ababa since 2003. Most days I teach Year 9, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Miss Melaku
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Miss Melaku: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2005. I remember you. Greetings from Abuja.

I was in your Year 9 class in 2003. You believed I could do it before I did! Truly.
