Miss Martinez
Design and technology and geography teacher, Burnaby
- 🇨🇦 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
- Orchid Academy
- Since 1984
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Miss Martinez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Miss Martinez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me design and technology in 1994 at Orchid Academy. I still remember the time the class pet escaped Truly.

I was in your the youngest children class in 1989. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.
