For 22 years I have been the art teacher at Sunrise Public School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Miss Marquez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Miss Marquez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
