I taught home economics and geography at Mount Pleasant Boys' School, San Antonio. I played music while people worked.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Miss Lucas: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
