I taught social studies at Ashford Girls' School in Savar from 2008 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
