For 13 years I was the French teacher at Machakos Grammar School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
