Miss Kakar
Art and Spanish teacher, Peshawar
- 🇵🇰 Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Willow Creek High School
- 1989 to 2002
- English, Punjabi
I taught art at Willow Creek High School in Peshawar from 1989 to 2002. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Miss Kakar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Miss Kakar: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
